Wow!  I can't believe it has been so long since I have updated!!!

We are just going to jump right back in here, starting with Finley's birth. 
He joined us on April 3rd.  After laboring for 2 days I was ready to have a baby that Wednesday morning!  We went in to the San Antonio Birth Center so that I could be checked out, hoping that all of those contractions were getting me somewhere.  Thankfully, we were able to get all settled in to the birthing suite and finally into the tub.  This was my second birth at the Birth Center, and I absolutely love the atmosphere there!

As you can see, I was a little spoiled!
It took just a few more hrs of laboring and finally our beautiful little guy came into the world.

Brylee wanted to be at this birth, so we prepared her as best as we could beforehand.  She held up really well and was really excited to get to hold Finley right away.

Quincy is such a proud daddy!

Finley weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 21 inches long.

The boys are really enjoying their little brother!

We had a blast at Sea World! There were not very many people out so we got to ride on any ride we wanted and the Christmas lights were all so pretty. Good family time. :)

Sander's 1st Birthday

Sander turned 1 on Dec. 6th. This last year went by so quickly. He is a handfull. He is trying to keep up with Brylee and Kael so he is growing up to fast!

This is a very much needed update to photos. Sander is 7.5 months now and growing too fast. He is crawling all over the place and pulling up on furniture. He cannot wait to be able to play with big brother and big sister.

Sander Quincy Shirley

Sander finally decided to join us! He was born Dec. 6th at 3:40 am. 8lbs. 8-1/2 oz. 21-1/2 in.

He is such a calm baby! We very much enjoyed our first birth with our wonderful midwife. Our experience was so peaceful and happy!

Ok, so the first 2 are the regular 2d ultrasound that we are used to, but all of the rest are 3d pictures. He still looks like a little alien but it is pretty neat to get a better picture. These are at 17 weeks and 5 days. We were told that if we go back at about 30 weeks we can get some really good pictures. It is really tempting so we will see whether we cave and go back in. :)
