Sander Quincy Shirley

Sander finally decided to join us! He was born Dec. 6th at 3:40 am. 8lbs. 8-1/2 oz. 21-1/2 in.

He is such a calm baby! We very much enjoyed our first birth with our wonderful midwife. Our experience was so peaceful and happy!

Ok, so the first 2 are the regular 2d ultrasound that we are used to, but all of the rest are 3d pictures. He still looks like a little alien but it is pretty neat to get a better picture. These are at 17 weeks and 5 days. We were told that if we go back at about 30 weeks we can get some really good pictures. It is really tempting so we will see whether we cave and go back in. :)

May visit

Mom and Dad came out for Vanessa's Graduation in May and these are just a few pictures that mom snapped while we were all together. Glenn, Keppie, Charli and Nathan were in town for the weekend too. We all had a really good visit.

March and April Pics

So this is Bender today at 5 months old. His is our big puppy for sure. We wighed him today and he is already at 73 pounds!

Brylee had a bike rodeo at school where they had an obstacle course for the kids to go through. She had a great time and we were really happy that it was during our lunch so we were able to be there.

Kael loves bikes! He just can't ride them quite yet.

This is Bender from last month. He has grown a lot in such a little time.

Sea World

We went to Sea World on Friday and Kael actually got to ride on the Texas Splash Down With Quincy, Brylee and her friend Lizzy. He had a blast as you can tell and the girls were scared out of their minds! Every time he looks at this picture he holds his arms up in the air. I have a feeling we will not be able to peel him away from this ride from now on. Thank goodness for season passes! So, who is going to come and ride The Texas Splashdown with Kael?

An old grill with a new look

Dad made this grill about 20 years ago. We started using it again about 2 years ago and we have finally gotten around to putting the legs on it and surrounding it with wood. We eventually want to powder coat the grill, but it is looking good for now. It is really great because we did this a basically no cost to us. We just drove around to a bunch of different building sites and went through their trash piles and found the 2X6's that we wanted to use for this.

Ft Worth Stock Show with Grandma and Uncle Glenn & Family

We were able to go up to Ft. Worth last weekend to see Grandma Dorothy, Uncle Glenn, Aunt Keppie, Charli & Nathan. The kids had a lot of fun riding on the fair rides. We really enjoyed getting to see all of the livestock as well.
