An old grill with a new look

Dad made this grill about 20 years ago. We started using it again about 2 years ago and we have finally gotten around to putting the legs on it and surrounding it with wood. We eventually want to powder coat the grill, but it is looking good for now. It is really great because we did this a basically no cost to us. We just drove around to a bunch of different building sites and went through their trash piles and found the 2X6's that we wanted to use for this.

Ft Worth Stock Show with Grandma and Uncle Glenn & Family

We were able to go up to Ft. Worth last weekend to see Grandma Dorothy, Uncle Glenn, Aunt Keppie, Charli & Nathan. The kids had a lot of fun riding on the fair rides. We really enjoyed getting to see all of the livestock as well.

Snow for Christmas!

Christmas Eve brought snow to Gilmer! Even though it did not stick, the kids had a fun time playing in it.

Christmas 2009

Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Shirley's House. All of the kids get to open up brand new pajamas. This year it was only us and the Mitchell clan so the group looks a little small.

Here is a picture of the tree after Santa had arrived. It is very easy to fill up a room these days.

We really enjoyed our Christmas this year! Having family around is what makes the holidays so great.
